Tom Holland is our new Spider-Man...but who's Tom Holland?
We bet you didn't think when you woke up this morning you'd be finding out who the new Spider-Man is, but here we are. Tom Holland is set to play Peter Parker in "Captain America: Civil War" as well as Sony's new Spidey reboot(s), but he's a bit of an unknown. We certainly hadn't heard of him until his casting was announced today, but after doing some research, it seems like he could give the role both the fun and gravitas it needs.
Have you been in the market for a robot friend? If so, you might want to look into Pepper, an "emotional" robot from SoftBank in Japan. It's a robot designed to read your emotions and respond accordingly; while that's pretty neat, it has a hefty price tag attached: 198,000 yen (or about $1,610 USD). That didn't stop the first run of 1,000 robots from selling out in less than a minute, though, so if you're looking to pick up a Pepper of your own, you'll be waiting until next month's run is up for sale.
If you've been watching Tomorrow Daily for a while, you probably remember how excited we were for the ESA's Rosetta mission (and its subsequent deployment of the Philae lander on the surface of Comet 67P). We were super sad when we found out Philae's batteries died, but now, Philae is communicating again -- and the ESA has a few months to take advantage of the lander's capabilities. Fingers crossed Philae can drill into the comet's surface and give the ESA an idea of what 67P is made of.
